Perspectives

Perspectives allow you to explore different viewpoints on the same thematic conflict within your story. By assigning specific Storypoints and Storybeats to different Perspectives, you can see how various characters or thematic arguments contribute to the same central issue.

Storypoints

Storypoints are the core Appreciations that define how conflict functions in a Storyform. They include Domains, Concerns, Issues, Problems, and the structural points that shape Plot, Character, and Outcome. Use Storypoints to make sure every Throughline stays consistent with the narrative argument.

Storybeats

Storybeats break Storypoints down into moments the audience can feel. They translate the abstract structure into a tangible sequence of beats, scenes, and turning points.

Dynamics

Dynamics capture the big-picture Appreciations that define how the story feels: Resolve, Growth, Approach, Problem-Solving Style, Driver, Limit, Outcome, and Judgment. Use Dynamics to verify the emotional promise of the story and keep your Throughlines aligned.
